I came across a nice little surprise today - the only remaining active hotel designed by Frank Lloyd Wright is in Mason City, Iowa!
I had known that there were at least a few Frank Lloyd Wright houses in Iowa. I however had, had no idea that a hotel designed by him was here and was still active. I found it purely by chance browsing of Reddit.
I am thinking this will be a perfect leg in a trip to see the Grotto of the Redemption as well.
